Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, Book 3) by Suzanne Collins Review

In my opinion, Suzanne Collins has a prophetic gift.  Her book trilogy, The Hunger Games, feels like a snippet into the United States future if we continue down this path that we are on.  I firmly believe that every American should read these books.  The third book in the series, Mockingjay, is the closing of this trilogy that has stolen the hearts of the millions of fans around the world.

While I do not want to write any spoilers, I do believe that the ending was amazing.  Keep in mind that I am a huge fan, so I am a bit biased.  The children in this series are pawns in the president's Hunger Games.  The Hunger Games represent the ultimate propaganda.  In this post-apocalyptic future, people are separated into districts and most kept poor and starving.  Only those that live in the capitol have money and food.  

This series heroine, Katniss Everdeen is so believable, readers root for her until the end.  It is hard to tell throughout the book if she will rise and prevail, or if she will fail and pave the way for human extinction.  It really can go either way.  Find out by reading this amazing series.
